My name is Emily. I'm from Suffolk originally but moved to the Rhondda Valley two years ago, where I bought my house and renovated it into a home. I studied Health and Social care at college knowing that I wanted to go into this line of work because I love helping people and achieving that self rewarding feeling of knowing I have made a positive difference to their lives. My service offers to help clients with their everyday life whatever it might be: assisting with personal care and hygiene, dressing, shopping, medication prompting, cooking small meals and getting out and about in the community, bringing them to different activities and generally improving their quality of life.

I am Joleen and after 26 years of working in social care I decided to set up my own micro-enterprise called Comfort and Care. I aim to provide a high standard of domiciliary care support services to individuals within their own home in a safe working environment, to enable you or your loved ones to remain living safely at home for as long as possible with ongoing support that is person centred to meet your/their needs. I am fully trained, DBS checked and have full liability insurance. We know it might be hard to let a carer into your home and life, to share personal details and give access to your private lives. I promise to always respect your privacy and keep information about you confidential. I promise that we will go the extra mile to follow those rules and to support you ‘ your way’. I am Social Care Wales registered and a member of ICO and NACAS. I have NVQ level 3 in Social Care. Rates will be discussed at first point of contact.
