Chapel dates from 1785 and John Wesley preached in it from existing pulpit. Sunday worship at 3.00pm on designated dates. Other activities as advertised, which include mid-week gatherings and Saturday morning events and special open days. The Chapel is cared for by a Management Committee, and has associated with it "Friends of Winchelsea Chapel" who subscribe to its upkeep and receive a regular Newsletter on its activities. The Chapel is available for public functions appropriate to a small historical chapel. Seating approximately 50, which includes a small gallery, it has attached a small kitchen and toilet facilities. It is also known as "Wesley's Chapel". Nearby is the "Wesley Tree" under which John Wesley preached his last open air sermon in 1790.
