We provide practical & emotional support to anyone who cares for or cares about someone who has survived sexual abuse, sexual violence or other serious violence. We work through a lead carer within the family to ensure that everyone in the family unit is supported, including siblings. Our service is for individuals who find themselves in a caring role, even if they do not consider themselves to be ‘a carer.’ Restitute is a lived experience organisation meaning we provide trauma-informed care. Our team members have survived these types of crimes. This shared understanding enables us to deliver a sincere & impactful service to individuals facing similar challenges.
