Do you believe that no one in Hastings should have to experience homelessness? If yes, we are the opportunity for you! We are a community-based, homelessness prevention service, designed to make a real difference to the lives of those who need it most. We are recruiting volunteers to help individuals emotionally and practically to make the move to secure housing. This can include setting up a home, finding a job, sourcing furniture or connecting individuals with the wider community. Support can be as simple as having a coffee, providing a listening ear, and letting people know that someone cares. Can you be part of the solution? We offer various opportunities, and provide full training, support, regular events and a real sense of community. We ask that you can volunteer at least one hour a week, for up to 6 months, and that you take part in our training and support.
