The Michelham Priory Lodge is a Freemasons Lodge based in Herstmonceux in East Sussex. Freemasonry means different things to each of those who join. For some, it’s about making new friends and acquaintances. For others it’s about being able to help deserving causes – making a contribution to family and society. But for most, it is an enjoyable hobby. Would you like to know more about the Freemasons, perhaps become a member yourself? New members are very welcome. As a charitable organisation, we aim to support our chosen charities, particularly local charities. We have an active and enthusiastic social committee who regularly organise social events throughout the year. The Lodge has a friendly and welcoming membership across a wide range of ages. Our members come from all walks of life and they span a broad social spectrum, but we all hold strong values, particularly; integrity, kindness, honesty, fairness and tolerance.
