Would you like to join the team of Health Walk Leaders on the Ashdown Forest Health Walk? Always beautiful walks taking in glorious scenery along undulating countryside tracks. Health Walks are free one hour group walks designed to help people to create a regular walking habit for all the benefits to health and wellbeing that brings. This is our largest group (30 to 40 or even 50 people!) and so we aim to have three or four leaders every week. No one is expected to lead every week, once or twice a month is perfect. This means it needs quite a large leader team to make sure turns are spread out and there is cover for holidays or illness. They meet at rotating car parks (1st Weds of month: Broadstone; 2nd Long; 3rd Box; 4th Four Counties; 5th Millbrook East) and the Forest provides a waiver system for parking charges. If you're interested, please do pop along for a chat or drop me a line!
