Rye Community Garden is a 0.4 acre site in Love Lane, Rye (close to the town centre). Since 2013 we have planted several types of fruit and vegetables, put up sheds and greenhouses, set up tanks to collect rain water and held many successful events. The garden has become a haven for wildlife, as well as a place to build community spirit and stronger connections between local people. We run gardening sessions every Saturday morning (10-12) - anyone can come along, no need to book ahead, feel free to turn up on the day. We do vegetable growing and harvesting, watering, weeding and other light gardening activities.
