About The Teaching and Learning Provision (TLP) provides educational support for children and young people aged 5 to 16 who are unable to attend school full-time because of illness (physical or mental health). Our services include: Termly meetings with the child, parents, school and health professionals to review support and plan the return to school A bespoke package of support that could include a place in one of our three teaching centres in Battle, Ringmer and Eastbourne Practitioners to aid transition 1:1 teaching in the home for children with physical illnesses, where they cannot leave the home Live online lessons to students in Key Stage 3 and 4 who cannot attend school full-time Criteria for this includes 15 days absence form school recorded as illness/medical, an active school based Additional Needs Plan in place and the child needs to be accessing a consultant led treatment plan for a medical need
