Local Government and Community Centre Facilities. Community Centre: Open Daily Parish Council Office: Monday to Friday 09.00 to 16.00 The former Primary School building is now the busy village Community Centre. Not only is it the home of the Parish Council, the County Library and the Community Playgroup, but there are many rooms, large and small, for hire. Many societies, clubs and organisations meet here during the week and there is a rich variety of activities available. These range from Bridge, Yoga, Pilates and Painting Groups to Tai Chi and Reiki. There is plenty of car parking spaces to the rear of the main building and a public car park adjoining the site. The very successful 'Gages' our Community Centre lunch provision provides a very reasonably priced, home-cooked meal, for all, three days a week. Gages is held in the Main Hall of the Community Centre, and is staffed by our chefs and volunteers.
