Our youth sessions run in the evening time, from 4pm and can finish at 7:30pm
You can get involved with lots of different tasks as a volunteer! From making cups of tea with the young people, to supporting structured activities to listening and engaging in conversation. The aim is to engage with our young people, and find your passion within our sessions. Curiosity, patience, kindness, being adaptable and cheerful are qualities we value at East Sussex Youth Hubs
You will need an enhanced DBS to attend youth sessions. We can do this for you!
We need you!
We are recruiting passionate volunteers for The JOFF Youth Hub in Peacehaven.
What is The JOFF?
A safe space for young people providing different weekly youth sessions for young people aged 8 to 19.
Can you spare a few hours a week? Our youth sessions occur in the afternoon/evenings between 3:30pm-8pm.
Whether you're passionate about supporting young people, or have specific music skills to teach young people, we would love to hear from you!
We invest in our volunteers:
- Skill development with 1:1 support
- Reference
- Reimburse travel expenses
- Recognition for volunteer efforts
- Subject to enhanced DBS check.
