BreatheEasy Eastbourne Support Group is run by a group of volunteers who suffer with lung illnesses so the most important thing we do in terms of support is offer an understanding ear from someone that has been there. It is our aim that no person should have to suffer alone. Therefore, we try our hardest to be accommodating and supportive, offering a safe place where people with lung illnesses can express themselves without prejudice. We are looking for volunteers who want to make a real difference to people’s lives by helping in our support groups, pulmonary maintenance groups and physical activity programmes for people living with chronic respiratory conditions in East Sussex. This is a great opportunity to have a positive impact in your community and on broader society. You will build on valuable skills such as communication, community development and fundraising. You will be reimbursed all reasonable out-of-pocket expenses incurred while volunteering.
