The Organisation was founded, as a charity, in 1993 by deaf people and for deaf people in Sussex and remains a user-led organisation. Action for Deafness provides advice, support, information and services to enable deaf people to lead independent lives. Adult audiology services are delivered on behalf of the NHS. A private audiology service is also available. We have bases in Haywards Heath, Worthing, Steyning and Hailsham.
