Ready to Make a Difference in 2025? Want to volunteer your time and make a real impact on the lives of older people in East Sussex? We have many volunteer roles, from providing friendly phone calls to helping out in one of our shops to supporting with one of our services admin. Whatever your preference there’s something for everyone. By volunteering with us, you can help reduce loneliness, provide essential support, and bring a smile to the faces of older people in East Sussex. Together we can ‘Make East Sussex Smile’. We have a min age limit of 16+ for roles in our retail shops and 18+ for our other volunteering roles, with no upper age limit. A basic DBS would only be required for volunteering roles when the volunteer will be visiting clients in their homes (so for our social prescriber volunteers and face to face befriending). Reasonable travel expenses will be paid.
