Dial-A-Ride is a door to door transport service using an adapted vehicle which provides easy access for passengers including wheelchair users. All our vehicles are fitted with safety belts which must be worn at all times, unless there are medical reasons, for which we will require written proof. Tires on wheelchairs must be fully inflated. Anyone living in the Bexhill area, regardless of age, with any type of disability that makes it difficult or impossible to use public transport. It can be used for shopping, visiting friends, medical appointments, hairdressers, theatre matinees etc within the local area. Once you are a Member you should call 01424 224278 or 215116 at least 48 hours before you require the service. Bookings are taken between 8:30am and 3:00pm on Monday to Friday. Outside office hours an answerphone is in operation.
