Accessible Dance Sessions has indicated that they are available on the following dates and times.
We offer fun inclusive accessible dance sessions for adults in the community. Our dance sessions are led by a qualified dance facilitator and supported by a team of volunteer dance buddies. Our sessions are accessible to standing and seated dancers and those in wheelchairs. We especially welcome adults with learning disabilities to our community classes. Our sessions in care homes and day care centres are dementia friendly. At each session we welcome everyone as they arrive and make sure that we know everyone’s name. Our sessions always start with introductions and a check-in before we warm up. We check in at the end as well, and try to make sure that everyone’s contribution is valued.
