1066 Fundraisers (formerly known as 1066 country relay fundraisers) is not for profit community organisation run by volunteers. We have fundraising events in Hastings East Sussex and donate all proceeds to local charities. Past events include, dog shows, 20 hour walking relay, swimming relay, cycling relay sponsored walk, its a knock out. We aim to bring communities together through fundraising on behalf of charities that work within our town and surrounding areas. We began as CURK relay for life Hastings. In November 2009 our organisation became independent to enable us to help more than one charity. We are dedicated to raising funds for local charities passing on 100% of the money raised. Charities we have supported include CRUK, Demelza Children's Hospice, Friends thru cancer, Mencap, RSPCA Bluebell, Sussex Air Ambulance, Sara Lee Trust and St Michaels hospice.
