We are a new, independent Lived Experience Recovery Organisation, for people with substance misuse problems, and people in recovery. We are membership based, free to join, and give people the chance to decide what services and activities they want. There is also the opportunity to apply for funding, to run your own activity, and we also work in partnership with existing service providers, helping our members put their voice into action. We are looking for a voluntary Secretary of the Board, a role that will lead to a paid, full time position within the organisation. You will be part of the team that shapes and implements policy, and as the organisation grows, you will learn new skills and take part in any necessary training and development. Essential skills are: Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Strong communication skills Ability to work on own initiative Confidence to attend senior management meetings An organised approach with great attention to detail Flexibility
