Inspire Sussex is the trading name of Eastbourne & District Mencap charity. Our purpose is to support, empower and improve the quality of life of the people who use our services: Adult services - Inspire Sussex have three registered specialised residential homes, providing support to adults with a range of disabilities. Day care services - At The Hive, we offer a range of activities and projects. Supported living - The tenants at Holmworth are encouraged and supported to lead an independent life. Inspire Sussex strive to enable people to have greater independence and  opportunities to meet their hopes, dreams and aspirations and to actively involve them as far as practically possible in making decisions over their day to day life and future. Our aim is to support people with learning disabilities, as valued members of society, to live a full and fulfilling life, with equal rights, responsibilities and opportunities.
