This role involves working alongside other Trustees and the nursery manager. Overseeing the financial affairs of the organisation and ensuring they are legal, constitutional and within accepted accounting practice. Ensure proper records are kept and that effective financial procedures are in place. Monitor and report on the financial health of the organisation. Meetings are held termly. Quick books is used by the setting and payroll is out sourced. Training is available, some experience preferable. This post is voluntary and will require a DBS check.
