A day centre for older members of the community with dementia, run by Spring Care PAs who have been providing care to people at home since 2013. Our Day Centre in Battle, East Sussex runs on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday each week. Open to all older members of the community with or without dementia. Most of our clients have dementia or other cognitive impairment. Most are living in their own homes in Battle, Bexhill, Hastings, St Leonards, Robertsbridge and Sedlescombe; but some come to us each week from their care home. Everyone is welcome. The Club provides a range of person-centred activities that support physical and mental wellbeing. We aim to reduce loneliness and enable people to maintain social interactions within a safe environment. Our activities are well planned to stimulate conversation, laughter, movement, teamwork and competition. We want our clients to have a sense of purpose.
